We spent 3 full days in Sarajevo but only passed through Zagreb (so perhaps not fair assessment for Zagreb.) We liked Sarajevo very much.so much history and very friendly helpful people. It has a both an old Ottoman section and an Austro-Hungarian section. The setting is interesting, surrounded by hills.
